Robin G. Mathis, Esq. is a native of northern Virginian. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 1982 with a degree in Political Science. While there, she was active in Delta Gamma Fraternity and Student Alumni Associates. Robin graduated from the Walter F. George School of Law of Mercer University in Macon, Georgia with her juris doctor in 1985. She was elected her third year to Honor Court, hearing violations of the honor system. She has been practicing, primarily in the field of real estate, for over 22 years. She was a partner in a major real estate firm for many years prior to opening her own firm and title co, in 2000. Robin is the mother of two teenage daughters. In her spare time she is active in community activities and fundraising. She enjoys coaching cheer at one of the local high schools.

Rusty Layton is a native of the Washington DC area. with almost 30 years of experience. He grew up in the Maryland suburbs, graduated from the University of Maryland in 1977, and has resided in Northern Virginia since 1980. He worked with his father through high school and college for General Heating installing HVAC systems and boilers. After college, Mr. Layton worked for Majestic Builders at the Parkfairfax Condo renovation project in Alexandria, VA, scheduling and supervising the renovation of apartments to condos. He also supervised the construction of single family homes with Washington Homes and Globe Construction in Alexandria and Burke Centre, Virginia. He was then employed by Real Estate Appraisal Services, as Vice President of the Inspection Department.
